Source: BLog.CripperZ.SG

Who says there is no such thing as free lunch. Well at least this is a free ride to get your lunch in the very early morning. LTA is launching free rides in the morning to 16 destination / stations in city area.

How It Goes …

From June 24 2013, on weekdays (Monday to Friday excluding Public Holidays), those who exits at the designated station before 7.45am will be given the free ride. For those who exit between 7.45am and 8.00am will be given a 50% discount on their train ride.

This trial will last for 1 year from June 24 2013 onwards. It will be fully be government funded for the public transport operators involved.

Well that is a “free lunch” for a year.

What are the 16 stations mentioned?

The 16 designated stations are Bugis, Chinatown, City Hall, Clarke Quay, Dhoby Ghaut, Lavender, Orchard, Outram Park, Raffles Place, Somerset, Tanjong Pagar, Bayfront, Bras Basah, Esplanade, Marina Bay and Promenade.

You can get full information on LTA announcement page here.
